Flying Dosa Man with Sambar & Chutney Sidekicks
A Facebook video uploaded by 'Street Food Recipes' on the 12th of February, shows a man selling 'flying' dosas at his stall in South Mumbai's Mangaldas Market. This clip of Shree Balaji Dosa has racked up millions of views, 96M and counting, to be precise and the shop has been garnering a massive footfall, owing to it.
The 'flying dosa' technique is basically the sheer expertise of the seller, where he can be spotted seamlessly flipping his steaming hot dosas high up in the air, straight from the skillet to the customer's plate, without looking at it. During this stunt, he is assisted by another man who stands at a distance on his side, catching this South Indian snack like nobody's business.
