Ahead of the Ram Temple inauguration, the Maharashtra Government has declared a public holiday in the state on January 22. This announcement comes shortly after the authorities had declared a half-day holiday on the same date.
Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Goa have also announced a public holiday on Monday. It is reported that all offices, schools, and colleges will remain closed in these states.
