Reportedly, a dozen districts across Maharashtra recorded zero cases of coronavirus infections.
Maharashtra has witnessed a dip in daily fresh cases in a long while, with 1,485 new instances reported on Monday. The state has managed to mark the lowest daily count and the total tally now stands at 65,93,182. Moreover, as per reports, about a dozen districts and a few municipal corporations across the state marked zero fresh cases on Monday.
Lowest daily case count since May 12, 2020!
With the addition of these new cases on Monday, which is the lowest since May 12, 2020, the total number of active cases in the state stand at 28,000. Going by the official data, while 2,000 patients recuperated from the viral infection, 27 fatalities were reported on the same day.
Mumbai COVID stats
According to the official data, there are 5,521 active in Mumbai. As per the reports, the metropolitan city reported 319 confirmed COVID cases yesterday, taking the cumulative tally of cases to a total of 7,52,344 cases. However, reportedly, 511 patients recovered from this viral disease on Tuesday, thereby making the total recovery tally of the capital city stand at 7,28,138 cases at present.
