All those who've started planning the first getaway of 2022 already, you are in luck as Mahindra Open Drive (MOD) is all set to bring India's first-ever live, nomadic, music-driven, adventure and cultural glamping weekend next month. Powered by Hyperlink Brand Solutions Pvt. Ltd, this drive-out festival is welcoming people for an exhilarating weekend full of music and fun activities.

Offering an opportunity to take the much-needed break from the mundane routine, this fest at Camp Max near the Mumbai-Pune highway includes a day-long event including a buzzing line-up of some of India's most renowned musicians. Read more to know the details of this unmissable getaway.

Fun activities lined up at the festival

Overlooking the breathtaking blue waters of Lake Kalote, Camp Max, which is touted to be one of India's most premium campsites is located in the valley of Mount Max. Apart from mesmerising views, this campsite has many other offerings for people including an amphitheatre, glamping, adventure activities, and much more.

Owing to its convenient geographical positioning, Camp Max is easily accessible for residents of Mumbai as well as Pune. While the day-long fest will conclude at 11 PM, those who're interested in staying over have the option to book weather-proof tents with air beds for the night.

A buzzing artists line-up

While Zerxes Wadia, the MTV VJ is set to host this one-of-its-kind event, attendees can get ready to groove to foot-tapping music by renowned bands across India. The line-up includes performances by Benny Dayal & Funktuation ft. The Hornflakes, Taba Chake, The Local Train, Peter Cat & Recording Co., Voctronica, Kamakshi Khanna, and Raghav Meattle.

Unleashing the independent spirit of Western India

With the aim to unchain the independent spirit of Western India, the festival's first, all-new incarnation brings forth a rustic camping concept that presents the perfect amalgamation of music, culture and adventure amidst nature. Apart from enjoying the music from the most loved artists across the country, guests can indulge in a pottery session, make some art or take a dip in the lake. One can take part in any of the fun activities planned for the day like zip-lining, archery and other adrenaline-pumping adventure sports or just relax and enjoy at the venue.

Moreover, the Souk at the festival will support local homegrown artists through a curated assortment of boutique food, art, and lifestyle brands with an Indian origin story. Staying true to the motto of being "loud for local" the festival will promote brands that incorporate the concept of sustainability in their workings.

Keeping in mind the current COVID situation, only fully-vaccinated people can attend the event which will be organised in line with the existing protocols. All safety measures will be followed at the event like temperature checks at the entry, social distancing and others. Apart from this attendees will have to wear their masks throughout the event.
