Viewing deck extending over the Dadar seashore
Thinking on the lines of beautification, previously Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation had also allotted ₹3.61 crores for the construction of a viewing deck, extending over the Dadar seashore. The deck has been planned to be built over the non-functional stormwater drain (SWD) and will have an elevation of about 16 feet above the sea level, covering an area of around 1500 sqm. Visitors will soon be able to enjoy the sunset on the deck while paying a visit to the memorial. The plan also includes building ramps on the deck, to provide accessibility to the differently-abled and senior citizens.c
