Mumbai's first drive-in vaccination centre at the Kohinoor public parking lot, offers a big relief for the differently-abled and senior citizens, who are in urgent need of the dosage. The multi-storey parking lot contains enough space for 60 to 70 vehicles to queue up for the two drive-in booths, that are set up here. Although there will be a registration stall set up, in case one needs help, the main registration process will be completed by the staff members on behalf of the beneficiaries while they wait in their respective vehicles.
Inaugurated today, this new drive-in vaccination centre in Dadar West, aims to accelerate the process of vaccination in Mumbai. This booth will allow senior citizens and differently-abled people to take the jabs, after they pay the necessary parking charges of the facility and this will also ensure minimum contact with outsiders or foreign elements.
