Mumbai’s connectivity is set to soar with several new and upgraded flight services. With new flight routes to Bangkok, Kuwait and Kolkata, Mumbai is becoming even more connected to the world, than before!
With increased flight options and new destinations, Mumbai is becoming an attractive hub for both domestic and international travellers, solidifying its position as a vibrant and cosmopolitan metropolis.
Know about the new flights to and from Mumbai
From October 27, Bangkok’s Nok Air will offer daily flights between Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) and Mumbai (BOM) as part of its winter schedule. The service will run until March 29, 2025, utilising a Boeing 737-800. Flights will depart DMK at 22:05, reaching Mumbai at 01:05, with return flights leaving Mumbai at 02:05 and arriving in Bangkok at 07:45.
To meet the increased travel demand during Durga Puja, Air India will enhance its service with daily, non-stop flights from Mumbai to Kolkata starting September 25. This expansion will raise the frequency from 21 to 28 flights per week.
Additionally, Akasa Air commenced daily direct flights from Kuwait to Mumbai on August 23, expanding its international reach to five destinations. This new route is designed to accommodate the growing demand for travel and cargo between India and Kuwait.
These new and expanded routes underscore Mumbai’s enhanced connectivity for both business and leisure travellers.
