From Plate to Palate!

A sprawling neat and muted ambiance set amidst a fine-dine setup, Salt Water Cafe has always lived up to the highest of expectations when it comes to grubs and drinks! Perceived as a predecessor of Salt Water Grill, this cafe checks all the right boxes, be it the vibes, the elaborate fare or the service.

Serving the best of their culinary expertise to Mumbaikars, from breakfast right up to dinner, this cafe is known for its freshest of all ingredients and the finest European flavours. They also have chunks of Italian delicacies scattered here and there in the menu, so if you’re craving for some saucy pasta or a creamy risotto, you won’t be disappointed.

Here we opted for the Grilled Chicken Peppercorn with Grape Jus which was a plate of delight! It had tender chicken breasts smothered with grape jus, drizzled with a mustard dressing and coupled with mashed potatoes on the side!

We also tried the Bell Pepper Salad which had freshly toasted croutons and the Sweet Potato Zucchini was tossed in fresh olive oil. They also serve Seared Basa on a bed of Hay Smoked Potatoes with a generous spank of citrusy butter and we loved how fresh the fish was! The overall flavour of the dish was subtle and to our surprise, it had slivers of sweetness to it.

To end your meal, go with their Kerala Cake or opt for the Cheesecake and you’ll thank us later. To wash it all down, we’d suggest their epic Sangria.
