SpiceJet is all set to launch 20 new flights on the domestic route in a synchronised manner from December 5. The airline has introduced non-stop flights connecting Ranchi to key cities like Mumbai and Delhi. It is also planning on launching non-stop daily flights, linking Shirdi in Maharashtra with Delhi, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Daily flights on the Mumbai-Ranchi route
Ranchi is the latest addition to the list of domestic destinations for SpiceJet. The airline plans to run daily flights on Mumbai-Ranchi-Mumbai sector and Delhi- Ranchi- Delhi sector.
Thinking on the lines of expanding the domestic horizon, airline is launching a host of new flights connecting Ahmedabad to Jammu, Guwahati and Kochi. The flights between Ahmedabad and Kochi will operate daily and flights between Ahmedabad and Jammu will operate daily except on Sundays.
SpiceJet's cargo arm to help in transportation of COVID-19 vaccine
SpiceJet is also dedicated in providing help in the transport of COVID-19 vaccine. The airline's cargo arm, SpiceXpress is planning to help in transportation of the vaccine through a specialised service- Spice Pharma Pro. SpiceXpress is equipped to transport extremely sensitive drugs and vaccines in temperature ranging from -40 degree C to + 25 degree C.
The launch of new routes connecting major cities like Mumbai to Tier-II cities like Ranchi will help in reducing the economic and geographical barrier. Introducing flights on the Ranchi route will make Mumbai and Delhi more accessible for SpiceJet travellers.
