Taylor Swift, Coldplay & Queen, with a twist: Candlelight Concert to debut in India, this October

After the scintillating success of Van Gogh 360°, Mumbai is all set to host another unique event. The team responsible for the Van Gogh exhibition is now bringing the first-ever candlelight concert to India, this October.

Candlelight India Tour will feature works of loved pop artists like Taylor Swift, Queen and Coldplay, with a classical twist in a dreamy candle-lit setting. Here, the audience will get to experience music in a whole new light, literally.

Candlelight concerts, with its fusion of classical opera and new-age artists, have already dazzled millions of music lovers in over 100 cities globally. Finally in our country, two days in October and one day in November will be dedicated to Candlelight India at Mumbai's Royal Opera House.

These candlelight concerts are unlike any other concerts that are popular today. First of all, these concerts do not have any merchandise stalls or bars at the venue. Secondly, there will be a designated time when the audience can click pictures and phones have to be kept away while the concert is ongoing.

The Indian edition of candlelight concerts will feature the greatest pop and rock hits of the last few decades. These will include Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida', Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody', Taylor Swift's 'Love Story', and ABBA's 'Gimme, Gimme, Gimme'.

After debuting in Mumbai, Candlelight India will also travel to Bengaluru. But that's not it, this unique concert will then move on to other cities across India, which are yet to be announced.
