An out-of-the box resto-bar within the confines of a cardboard box; such is the uniqueness of Cardboard, here in BKC!
The newest inclusion in Mumbai’s burgeoning epicurean scenes, Cardboard is redefining the concept of sustainability and how. An applause-worthy initiative with interiors made entirely out of recyclable cardboard, this cafe has led to conversations and dialogues revolving climate change too.
With furniture pieces carved out of cardboard to cutlery boxes, Cardboard is a futuristic concept which is all about going green within their dark beige interiors.
Once you step in, your senses will quickly drag in the light South Indian aromas emanating from their kitchen and upon looking closer, you’ll witness that even the light fixtures have been made using cardboard.
Coming to the grubs and drinks, Cardboard has managed to check all the right boxes. With predominant influences of the South, this restaurant serves delish coffee and even upma! But when you don’t want to settle for the basics then opt for Babu, which is a neatly folded omelette in a fiery curry and Groovy, which is a dish made of zesty prawns in refined grease. The Zoink sandwich and the Hummus Platter have also risen as go-to options here and they also offer vegan and Jain options, to pull in EVERYONE!
Cardboard is absolutely nothing like the regular eateries here in BKC- the ambience is cloaked in sophistication and it enables diners of all kinds to find their own comfort spot. Be it an individual who wants to work solo while sipping on their classic coffee (they have plug points too) or a family gathering, Cardboard accommodates all moods and needs.
So come over on a weekend or drop by for a hangout sesh here with the squad because Cardboard heeds to your preferences, while keeping carbon footprints at bay.
