The Time magazine is arguably one of the most recognized magazines of the world. With real deal photographers and journalists working round the clock to cover stories of value and relevance, Time is an undisputed mountain of information and the Time’s 100 list, one of the most respected and trusted lists in the world.

Time magazine just came out with a list of “World's Greatest Places of 2019-100 destinations to experience right now”, and it features Mumbai’s Soho House along with several others in the world.

What’s the update?

In it’s list of new and newly “noteworthy destinations to experience right now”, the Time magazine has featured, Gujarat’s Statue of Unity and Mumbai’s Soho House in the list of world’s greatest places to visit. While the statue of unity is listed in the ‘To Visit’ segment along with Quranic Park in Dubai, Newseum in Washington D.C, and Troy Museum in Turkey; the Soho House has been listed in the ‘To Stay’ segment of the reputed list.

The Soho House has been listed with Kachi Lodge in Bolivia, Castello di Santa Savera in Italy, Hyatt Regency in Aqaba Ayla Resort, The Other Place in China and several other places.

Why Soho House?

An international hotel chain and a member’s only club, the Soho House in Mumbai is Asia’s first. Started first in Soho, London, the hotels and member only clubs are now open to public and pride themselves on catering to the ‘creative soul’.

Overlooking the Arabian Sea and located in a breezy 11-storey building , the Soho House Mumbai offers its patrons a rooftop pool & bar, a stocked library, a 34 seat cinema hall and a restaurant ‘Cecconi’s as well as 38 hotel rooms. The hotel room and the restaurant are both open to non-members, unlike other facilities offered here.

“The unique feel comes in the shape of block-printed fabrics from Rajasthan; handwoven cane furniture; environmentally sustainable, sari-coated lampshades; and some 200 art pieces by mostly South Asian artists, including Bharti Kher and Subodh Gupta.” Time magazine wrote.

As per the officials, the hospital has performed this ground-breaking procedure more than 3200 times as of now. Notably, EHCC was also the first hospital in Rajasthan to perform this rare medical feat in the year 2016.

On Sunday, nine people in Jaipur tested positive for the Omicron variant of COVID19. Amid the rising fear of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, 5 new cases of Covid-19 (Older variants) have gripped Lucknow. This new tally includes three cases from the same household and a single independent case from Vibhuti Khand which record an inter-state travel history. PWD to widen & repair road leading to Chandrika Devi Temple from Sitapur Road in Lucknow!

Public Work Department will partner up with district administration and police department to conduct an anti-encroachment drive on this route as well

Soon the residents of Lucknow will be able to travel to Chandrika Devi Temple with ease, as the road leading to the temple will be widened and repaired by the administration soon. In an effort to facilitate easier and smoother traffic movement, the Public Work Department will undertake repair work on the road leading to Chandrika Devi Temple from Sitapur Road. Apart from the repair work, the authorities will also widen the 11.45 kilometre long road as well. According to the reports available at present, the work on this project is expected to start this month.
