Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

We all know about Delhi’s deathly air, the pollution and the harsh sun, it is the reason of constant dismay for Delhiites. Running to the hills, in order to escape it all feels like the only way out. But, what if there was a place within the city that you could escape to?

Within Greater Kailash’s canopy of lights and lush green trees, there is a quaint little place- Music & Mountains - the hillside cafe. Located in the cacophonous GK market, the cafe is an escape from all that hustle bustle of Delhi. The cafe is a hidden gem and you wouldn’t stop recommending it to everyone once you know all about it.

This cafe is cozy, warm and gives you a ‘cabin in the mountains’ feels with its plush wooden interiors. The place is so comfortable, with its huge glass windows, wooden furniture, books on each table and lush green trees right outside, that you’d want to sit here for hours and read.

The M&M cafe has beautifully taken care of the small details, from decorating its walls and ceiling in wooden logs, covering the chairs with fake animal fur and putting up a legit fireplace to give its patrons a darn close hillside vibe. The euphonious music of the birds chirping outside makes the cafe an apt place for romantic outings. So if you have been looking for that one place which will make your loved one feel special, the M&M cafe is the place for you. The only thing missing here is a view of the hillside from the windows.

The cafe’s menu is brilliantly curated, they serve scrumptious Italian treats that are on point with the whole vibe of the place. The food here is droolworthy, everything they serve here has an authentic feel to it. People are especially a fan of the thin crust pizza and the fresh made pastas. The portion size of their serving gets brownie points from our end as it is pretty impressive.

We found that the menu here has a dish for every mood and it’s hard to pick favourites from the great selection. But if we really had to, the must try dishes here are the chicken pot pie- with the buttery soft crust and juicy chicken pieces, lamb chilli nachos- which are made from the scratch and are uber light and crispy, pepperoni pizza which is one of most loaded pizzas you’ll find this side of the city. You can also try the sinful the tiramisu here, it will definitely steal your heart.

The Music and Mountains - hillside cafe is a place where you can leave all your worries behind. The cafe is worth being on your list of the most amazing places in the city because it is sure on ours. Just make sure to book your table in advance because the cafe is generally quite crowded.

Though we love this place, the number of vegetarian dishes could be increased and it would be amazing if it took less time to serve us those mouth-watering dishes. Other than that, the Music and Mountains - hillside cafe is sure to give you an experience to remember forever.
