Oriental cuisine has some of the most delicious, heart-warming and umami filled dishes that have made life more tolerable for us. Soft-steamed buns, pan-fried and seared to perfection noodles, spicy curries, and refreshing sushi, we can gobble it all up in no time.

Oriental food also has some of the most comforting dishes, be it the Thai green curry, the Japanese Ramen or Kung Pao Chicken, we can graciously chomp on one after the other and not complain. If like us, you too are a fan of good oriental food, you have to be at the newly opened Kuai Kitchen at Khar.

What the vibe says?

With big red French doors, open brick layout, modern furniture and graffiti on the walls, Kuai Kitchen is place which has a simple yet bohemian vibe to it. We absolutely adore the outlets and it is hard to miss the iconic red doors, the picket fence and even the striped door shade.

Though the interiors are quite simple, we felt wonderfully at ease here. The ambiance is quite chill, the whole 'only-what's-necessary' thing about the decor here is refreshing. You can have a simple lunch or bring group and have an extravaganza, the place is good for both.

Food for the soul

Kuai Kitchen is one of those places which has got its priorities right- it is all about the food here. While you may think that there isn't much to the place, the food speaks for itself.

We were completely bowled over by the taste, quality and authenticity of the food they serve here, the Volcano Prawn Tempura Roll are one of the favourite things we tried here. A visually pleasing plate of sushi that doesn't make our insides squirm. The sushi platter made with deep fried prawns and topped with delicious, spicy-aromatic sauce is perfect for anyone who's looking for something light and yet satisfying.

While we also fell in love with the green curry meal served here. The Thai green curry is one of our favourites in the city, the strong flavours of galangal, lemongrass and coconut make curry that isn't just uber luxurious but also as delicious as can be. We would also recommend the Pad Thai noodles, steamed buns, chicken and prawn sui mui, chicken teriyaki bao, kuai Shanghai fish in soya garlic sauce, chicken with ginger and spring onions, burnt garlic fried rice and the honey noodles with vanilla ice cream.

Knock Knock

Kuai Kitchen is the place to be for those who just cannot have enough of Oriental food. The dishes are comforting, familiar & prepared authentically with robust spices to make sure that the taste is as distinct as can be. If you are a lover of good food, you need to check this place out for all the delicious grub they serve and the authentic oriental flavours you can find here.
