Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

Delhi is one of the most vibrant and happening cities in the country and for good reason. The national capital has something new and exciting at every turn but have you ever ‘seen’ the city in all its glory? Well, now with the new observation deck at Signature Bridge, you may get a chance to see a bird’s eye view of the city. The observatory deck here is almost complete and we can’t wait to see Delhi from a different perspective.

What’s the update?

The bridge was first inaugurated back in November 2018 and the observation deck was proposed at the same time. Since then, the deadline for actually making the observation deck has been extended twice.

The observation deck will provide a bird’s eye view of the city and will be at a height that is twice the size of the Qutub Minar. Additionally, the deck also has a glass viewing area, where visitors can stand and take in the picturesque sights of Delhi from above.

What is the observation deck?

Situated atop the Signature Bridge, the observation deck is one that will plummet the bridge’s standing as a tourist destination. With at least four floors, each with different attractions, it surely will become a place of interest for travellers.

Additionally, the deck at the top can accommodate up to 50-60 people at a time, which means that you won’t have to wait for long periods of time to get on top. Apart from that the observatory itself will offer a grand 360 degree view of the National Capital and several major monuments will be visible from here, making for rather insta-worthy pictures.

Areas around the bridge will also undergo several beautification processes. The goal is to make a new park cum tourist facilitation area around the bridge, so as to increase its appeal to the masses. We are rather excited to see how the deck turns out and can’t wait to plan a trip here.
