Delhiites are known for their extravagant shopping. In the pursuit for extravagance, often, market places tend to get filled to the brim and your entire shopping experience is marred.

Now, after a long wait, this could change because the authorities are implementing pre paid auto stands at the prominent Lajpat Nagar market. The autos will help streamline movement into the market and even around it. Our shopping experience is often ruined by traffic all around, but the auto rickshaws could put an end to that.

What's the update?

On Sunday, a group of business owners and the Delhi Traffic Police inaugurated the first prepaid auto booth at Lajpat Nagar market. The goal of the prepaid auto stands is to essentially provide people with a better shopping and travel experience.

This was indeed the need of the hour. As Lajpat Nagar's market becomes increasingly popular, the daily footfall at the market itself goes up. Owing to this, the crowd at the market is unimaginable, especially during the wedding season.

How will it help?

Now, with the help of the streamlined auto rickshaw system, shoppers can park their vehicles outside the marketplace and make use of autos to commute within the shopping area. No longer do you have to deal with someone honking behind you because the autos will help keep the traffic at bay.

Additionally, a new app was recently launched with a similar purpose. The new app, called Parkease, aims to give Delhiites information about parking spots in prominent market places, including Lajpat Nagar. Paired with the new prepaid autos, the market won't be anything like you know it.

Knock Knock

Well, folks, the next time that you're here, be sure to take in everything that the market has to offer. Lajpat Nagar is one of those rare shopper's paradise that needs to be explored till you drop. Since the market will be completely changed now, you can expect a wonderful shopping experience ahead of you.
