Distressed walls, neon lights, an alluring cocktail den and a gourmet food kitchen- Sazerac is an American themed brasserie which is named after the quintessential New Orleans cocktail.

Sazerac raises a toast to the essential Americana culinary sensibilities with a blend of contemporary vibes and classical aesthetics. Spread over two floors, think of warm tones, fairy lights and lazy evenings or Sunday brunches focused on comfort food!

On the table for us-

Beer fermented Monterey jack toast - 6/10

Buffalo chicken wings - 9/10

Pear, beetroot and goat cheese salad - 9.5/10

Pesto pizza - 8/10

NY style lemon cheesecake - 9/10

Mojito - 9/10

Bloody Mary - 9/10

Servings- The pizza was sufficient for 4 people. Rest everything was sufficient for 2 people! (generous portions)

Is Sazerac the ultimate American Diner Dream?

With a lot of focus on the presentation, the food here is every bit of hearty American offerings! Pear, beetroot and goat cheese salad is a must try here. The goat cheese complemented the sweetness of the pear and the freshness of the beetroot.

The beer fermented jack toast was loaded with cheese but it didn't impress us as much as the other dishes! The crispy buffalo chicken wings had just the right amount of saucy tenderness and can be used as a side, while relishing the cocktails here. Devour this with your fingers and get messy, like it’s meant to be!

Pesto pizza was a little basic for our taste but it's crust was really crispy so it passed the taste test for us. Both the drinks were really well presented but we particularly liked the mojito. The bloody Mary had a spicy tinge to it and it went well with the dishes of our choice. The creamy cheesecake had a crunchy crust and it was an absolute delight to dig our spoon in it- not too sweet and drool-worthy for sure.

Did this Saz-zy place impress us?

Fun and chill, Sazerac is a place where you can take your dates to or visit on a Sunday noon to laze around, while you wait for the Saturyay night hangover to wear off.
