If you’re a foodie, then there’s no better way to delve deep into the trails of culture of local and international fare than living in Delhi.

This city has no dearth of restaurants and cafes serving global grubs but very few of ‘em rank high in every segment, ranging from taste and innovation to the freshness of ingredients and ambiance.

Settling in the legion of those few eateries, Sly Granny has arrived all the way from Bengaluru, in Khan Market and we’re already saving up to afford a fancy meal here!

What’s the Vibe?

This restaurant is actually a cult in the ‘Silicon Valley of India’ (Bengaluru) and now it is situated in one of Delhi's most upscale locales, Khan Market!

The Sly Granny has fit in like a missing piece of puzzle in Delhi's global food landscape and honestly, it ain’t for millennials who run at the back of chilled beers and warm tacos! It is more of a place for people who relish fine tea, friends catching over a few craft tipples after office or simply for folks who are into fine-dine!

The eatery is cloaked in vibrant colours done up tastefully and the beefy larger-than-life Arnie wallpapers that have you eyes as soon as you enter the place. Clearly, Sly Granny ain’t afraid of textures and prints because the other walls here have pineapples and poodles in tiaras too. Cookbooks and crystal pineapples are scattered around the two floors which the ‘granny’ has collected while on her globetrotting adventures.

For The Tastebuds

The menu is pretty catholic, has delicacies drawn from various European cuisines and it even has a separate high tea section! With an extensive wine and booze menu, including in-house concoctions.

If you’re a coffee connoisseur, try out their in-house special ‘Lbrik’, which is mild espresso with a flavour of cinnamon! We loved it along with our Deconstructed Cheese Toast and the Pulled Chicken Tacos served with tomato chutney and pickled onions, to reset the foodgasm standards on our palate.

The dishes look like works of art, generous, homegrown and curated to satiate our perpetual hunger for eclectic visuals and alluring nosh!

Knock Knock

You should give Sly Granny a chance to host you because once here, you’ll know why we’re rooting for it- the offbeat vibes, wide ranging grubs and the prompt service has us swooning! All of it amalgamates to provide for an experience which is absent from the generic chaos of the regular cafes and restaurants here in the vicinity.
