RT-PCR negative report not required for fully inoculated visitors entering Mumbai

Bringing relief for regular commuters, the Maharashtra administration and Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai have together relaxed the restriction of COVID negative reports for fully inoculated visitors entering the state. Previously, the aforesaid restraint required travelers to produce a negative COVID report for a test conducted within 48 hours prior to the entry. Now, the dropping tallies have led to the current intervention in a bid to benefit people traveling to Mumbai, frequently.

BMC to launch 'spot-testing' for incoming travellers at Mumbai Railway Stations from Wednesday

In a bid to control the rapid rise of coronavirus cases in Mumbai due to surged tourist influx, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has decided to launch spot-testing across all major railway stations in the city. All travellers from hotspots including Delhi, NCR, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa will be screened at city stations and those exhibiting virus symptoms will be tested through rapid antigen kits.
