Primarily, because it is purely about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also because it was supposed to release just before the elections on April 11. After being put on hold for the election span it finally has a release date of May 24.

Presently, Election commission has ordered to stop the release of the movie until the elections are over. The first-look poster of the movie was released on 7th January 2019, revealing actor Vivek Oberoi as PM Modi. While, the trailer was released on 20th March 2019, the movie has now been postponed to May 24.

As of now, the movie has been certified “U” by the Central Board of film Certification with a running time of 130 minutes.
