In it’s first week itself ‘Avengers: Endgame’ crossed the INR 250 Crore mark in India

Marvel superheroes assembled one last time in Endgame to save the world, bring back loved ones and defeat Thanos once and for all. The movie is not only turning out to be an emotional affair for fans but is also soaring high at the box office. It has successfully broken box office records in India by crossing the 250 crore (INR) mark in just a week’s time.

The film, released on April 26, features Hollywood biggies like Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth. The Avengers have a massive fan following in India and almost all shows were pre-booked a few days before the release of the move.

According to a statement issued on behalf of the makers, the Marvel Studios' film collected a massive Rs 310 crore (gross box office collection) and Rs 260.40 crore (nett box office collection).

Film critic and Analyst, Taran Adarsh went on twitter to share-

He went on to point out that the film has crossed the first week business of Hindi films like "Baahubali 2" (Hindi), "Sultan", "Tiger Zinda Hai", "Sanju" and "Dangal".

While, it is doing great on 2D and 3D screens it is also doing good business on all 18 IMAX screens in India. The movie was actually shot entirely with IMAX cameras by the Russo Brothers - Joe and Anthony.
