Actors John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi will be next seen starring in filmmaker Sanjay Gupta's upcoming gangster drama film. The filmmaker who has attached his names to the movies such as Shootout at Lokhandwala, Shootout at Wadala, Dus Kahaaniya, Kaante and Musafir, most of which are gang related of high packed action thrillers.

"It's my third outing with John and I'm super excited to work with Emraan. I have always wanted to work with him and I am back to my base of filmmaking- gangster dramas and all I can say is...It's good to be home," Gupta said in a statement.

The director has previously worked with John in films like "Shootout At Wadala" and "Zinda".

Fans are excited to see John and Emraan immersed in the gangster dramas once again a they have so proficiently carried the baton in previous movies.

John’s dark character in Shootout at wadala is still the stuff of legends while Emraan who took up the role of infamous gangster Shoaib Khan in Once upon a time in Mumbai and a gang member (hitman) in the 20007 drama Awaarapan also holds a similar reputation.

It is also, the very first time that the two very talented actors will be seen together on screen and we are excited to witness the magic the duo casts.

John Abraham’s last stint on screen was Robbie Grewal’s Romeo Akbar Walter which was released earlier this year and he is next slated to star in Nikkhil Advani’s Batala House. While, Emraan was last seen in the popular social drama Why Cheat India and has another two films and a Netflix series coming up- Murder 4, Chehre and The Bard of Blood, respectively.

Other details related to the film are still under wraps. The yet-untitled epic gangster saga is produced by Gupta's White Feather Films and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series.
