A new song titled “Mere Sohneya” has been released from Shahid Kapoor’s “Kabir Singh” and it is melting our cold icy hearts. The soul touching track, written by Irshad Kamil has been sung by Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur.
Sachet and Parampara have also lend their voices to the hit song 'Bekhayali' from the movie. Bekhayali was released only a few weeks ago and it has already topped the music charts. Which is the reason why the audiences were desperately waiting for the release of new songs.
Recently, Shahid Kapoor shared the said song on his instagram account and the fans went gaga.
Singer Parampara talked about her experience and said that people in love would really connect with the song. She said, "Anyone who has fallen in love will connect with the song. It has so much love that it got approved by everyone at the first hearing. Hope the audience will love it."
Kabir Singh is the hindi remake of the 2017 Telugu film Arjun Reddy, which starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles. Just like the original film, the Bollywood version is also directed by Sandeep Vanga. It is about the life of a surgeon who sets out on a self-destructive path after his love interest marries someone else. The film is all set to be released on June 21, 2019.
Talking about his role in the film, Shahid said, “I’ve had my very intense, self destructive, heartbreak, angsty moments, where I’ve not been in control, you have to channelise all kinds of negative emotions and turn them into positive, otherwise they can take you down, heartbreak being one of them. You’ve to learn to channelise these energies, if you can’t, you become Kabir Singh.”
The trailer of the film was out recently and created a lot of buzz. Now, with these three songs already on the top of our playlists, we can’t wait for the movie to be released.
