Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas and crew wrapped up the shoot for her upcoming Bollywood comeback film ‘The Sky is Pink’. Priyanka attended the wrap-up party for the film with the cast and crew on Tuesday. She took to Instagram to share some photographs from the wrap-up party late night on Tuesday.
Joining her at the bash were producers Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, cast members Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf, and director Shonali Bose. Farhan Akhtar, who is also playing a part in the film with Priyanka, was missing from the party.
The filming for the biographical film directed by Shonali Bose began on 8th August 2018 in Mumbai. The second schedule of the filming began on 13th October 2018 in London and wrapped up on 17th October 2018. The shooting for the movie ended on 11th March 2019, according to a tweet by Taran Adarsh.
The Sky is Pink is reportedly based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with an immune deficiency order (pulmonary fibrosis) at the age of 13. Aisha’s role is being played by Zaira Wasim while, Priyanka is playing the role of Aditi Chaudhary, Aisha’s mother and Farhan, Aisha’s father. “The Sky is Pink” is scheduled to release in October 2019. The story already has us wanting more details of the movie.
The film will mark Priyanka’s comeback into Bollywood- after a gap of three-years. The actor’s last bollywood movie was Jai Gangaajal, which came out in 2016.
