With his super-crazy energy and quirky fashion tastes, Ranveer Singh was seen once again showing off his hyper-energetic self during the India vs Pakistan ICC World Cup 2019. The ever exuberant Ranveer, set fashionistas running for the hill as he made his commentary debut in the group stage match at Manchester.
The actor joined likes of Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and other cricket legends in the commentator's box. He was at his ‘atrangi’ best as he opted for a brown checkered long overcoat, a colour-coordinated muffler and relaxed loose fit parallel trousers in the same shade. The actor completed his look by pairing his outfit with oversized flip glasses.
Known for his passion for cricket, he also entertained the fans with a segment where he interacted with cricket stars such as Gavaskar, Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Brian Lara and Ramiz Raja.
Ranveer has been indulging in serious research and preparation for his upcoming film ‘83’ which is based on India's 1983 World Cup win, where the actor will be seen playing the role of ‘Kapil Dev’.
The BCCI Twitter handle posted a video of the actor welcoming viewers to the "biggest stage for cricket, the World Cup, and the biggest-ticket match - India vs Pakistan. It doesn't get bigger than this," he said. He went on to report that the weather in Manchester looked promising. "Looks like we might just have the humdinger of a game we're all looking for," Ranveer added.
The Bollywood star's lively words and playful antics, as usual, were quite a hit, as videos of him on the grounds were being circulated all over social media. His presence on the screen once again made us fill with zest and spark.
