On October 30, Apple will host its annual event in New York where it is expected to announce new Macbooks, iPads, and Airpods. While Apple's announcement is due in 24 hours, we might just have an early look at the upcoming iPad.
According to an icon found in iOS, it can be seen that this year’s rendition of the iPad Pro will have two different sizes with thinner, rounded bezels and will ditch the Touch ID like their iPhone cousins.
We are still unsure if the 2018 iPad Pro will feature a notch design on the front yet. Having said that, the new iPad Pro will definitely borrow the Face ID technology used by Apple in the iPhone X series since last year. This iPad Pro glyph also shows a power button on the top edge and volume rockers on the side.
A slider key can't be seen, but that might just be an issue with the icon missing out on some details. This could also be the reason for the seemingly large bezels in the render.
Earlier in September, a render showcased a similar iPad Pro having slim bezels and no home button surfaced. We are eager to see how Apple will play it’s cards this year and what new innovation it will bring to the table.
Apple’s Special Event will be streamed live from Brooklyn on 30th October at 7:30 PM IST, so stay tuned as we will be keeping you updated with all the information as it happens.
