Asus has scheduled an event on December 11 to launch the Zenfone Max Pro (M2) in India but the phone(s) in question have already broken cover in Europe. The Asus Russia Store has listed the upcoming smartphones on their e-commerce portal and interested buyers can pre-order the same.
While we are still some days away from the India launch of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M2), with the Russian listing we have our first look at the official specifications of the phones.
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M2) features a 6.3-inch full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with an octa-core CPU.
The SD660 also takes help of the inbuilt AI Engine for optimizing battery, performance and some photography features. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage which can further be expanded by a microSD card.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M2) sport a dual camera set up on the back consisting of 12-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel secondary depth-sensing camera. On the front, there’s a single 13-megapixel selfie snapper sitting flush within the notch.
The Zenfone Max Pro (M2) draws power from a 5,000mAh battery and comes in Blue color option.
The younger sibling, Zenfone Max (M2) was also officially announced and comes with a 6.3-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) IPS display. The notch on the front gives the screen a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Asus Zenfone Max (M2) is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 and is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage which is expandable.
On the optics front, the Zenfone Max (M2) sports a dual camera- 8-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel depth sensor in addition to a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Like its elder sibling, the Zenfone Max (M2) also boasts of a big 4,000mAh battery onboard to power the phone.
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M2) is available to purchase in Russia at RUB 17,990 which roughly translates to ₹18,990 while the regular variant is up for sale at RUB 12,990 (approx. ₹13,719).
