Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has been selling like hot cakes in the Indian market due to its sub-₹20,000 price. The phone has just received a new firmware update which brings EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) to the already powerful dual camera setup.
The EIS capability was spotted hidden in the device along with the Snapdragon Camera app that the phone ships with. There was a rather tiresome procedure that allowed users to activate the feature through the app. The update however, will permanently enables EIS, making for more stable and less blurry videos, reducing all traces of shaky hands.
That is not all the update brings to the Zenfone Max Pro M1. The update is said to bring more stability, fixes while the security patch has also been updated to September 2018. Asus has promised that the Zenfone Max Pro M1 will receive Android 9.0 Pie upgrade by the end of 2018.
The biggest selling point of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 is it’s humongous 5000mAh battery that powered 4GB/6GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 636 SoC. The phone is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB variant and Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB variant and is available on Flipkart.
