According to reports by Android Police, the phones are expected to hit the international markets by the second quarter of 2019 or spring, which is around the same time as April or May.
The publication behind the leaked information is the same Russian website that released an unboxing video of the Pixel 3 XL almost a week before it’s actual launch. The publication was also behind giving us a look at the codenames and designs of the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL.
Other details about the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL that we know are the screen sizes and aspect ratios used by the phones. Both the phones will come with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and the Pixel 3 Lite will come with a 5.5 inch display. The Pixel 3 Lite XL will feature, as the name suggests, a larger display with 6 inch displays.
On the internal specification side, the Pixel 3 Lite will come with a Snapdragon 670 chipset and 4 GB RAM. It includes a 12-megapixel rear camera an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage and runs on Android 9.0. To keep the phone powered up, it comes with a 2,915mAH battery.
The Pixel 3 Lite XL may feature the same camera sensors that will be available on its smaller variant. The XL smartphone is rumored to carry a bigger internal storage and battery. Additionally, it is rumored that the phone could be fueled by the Snapdragon 710 chipset.
The phones will initially make a debut in the U.S markets where they will be up for purchase from Verizon at an expected price of about $500. In India, the price could be about ₹37,000, but we will have to wait for official announcements by the company.
