Huawei unveiled their 2018 flagship smartphone just last month in London and now the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is all set to bring the phone to India.
According to IANS, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro with triple cameras and Kirin 980 chipset in tow will see the light of day on November 27. Notably, Huawei has refrained from bringing its Mate series smartphones to India but that seems to have changed this year as the smartphone market in India brims with a solid competition from OEMs.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a 6.39-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED display which is topped with a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass. The phone has a notch design on the front which gives the phone a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display on the Mate 20 Pro is also HDR10 compliant and has the fingerprint sensor embedded underneath the panel.
Huawei’s Mate 20 series has a couple of firsts in its belt as it is the first Android smartphone to be powered by a 7nm processor, the Kirin 980. Along with this, the Mate 20 Pro supports reverse wireless charge which essentially means you can recharge your other phone or headphone from it wirelessly.
The Mate 20 Pro comes with a triple camera set up on the back which consists of a 40-megapixel wide-angle lens, 20-megapixel super wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. Along with this, the Mate 20 Pro comes equipped with a 24-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies.
Powering the Mate 20 Pro is a 4,200mAh battery which supports fast charging. Huawei will also launch their Qi wireless charging pad alongside the Mate 20 Pro when it launches in India.
