In addition to launching new gaming laptops and accessories, Lenovo has also revamped its flagship notebook lineup with the launch of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 Yoga. The company has made some subtle changes to the lineup for 2019.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, that has always focused on its carbon finish now includes an optional carbon fiber weave top cover with the seventh-generation variant of the device and the fourth-generation ThinkPad X1 Yoga is the first ever ThinkPad device with an all-aluminum chassis.
In addition to the design changes, Lenovo has claimed that the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and the ThinkPad X1 Yoga are thinner and lighter when compared to their predecessors. The new ThinkPad lineup will be available starting from June this year.
Starting with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, it weighs less than 2.5 pounds and is 14.95mm thin, which Lenovo claims makes it the world’s lightest commercial 14-inch notebook.
