HMD Global-led Nokia has launched a new mid-range device, the Nokia 7.1, an Android One device in India. The Nokia 7.1 was introduced last month in Europe and the device has finally made its way to India.
The main highlight of the latest device from the Finnish smartphone maker is its Full HD+ HDR display. It features a dual camera setup at the back and sports a notch at the front. It is an Android One device and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
The Nokia 7.1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and offer a near stock Android experience to users. It features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device supports SD to HDR real-time conversion. It features a notch at the top that houses the front camera and other sensors.
In terms of performance, the Nokia 7.1 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. In terms of memory, the device features 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Coming to the camera department, the Nokia 7.1 features a dual camera setup consisting a 12MP primary RGB camera with ZEISS optics, f/1.8 aperture,1.28 um pixel size and a 5MP secondary monochrome camera. On the front, the device is expected to feature an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Nokia 7.1 is powered by a 3,060mAh battery with fast charge support. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
The Nokia 7.1 has been priced at Rs. 19,999 and will be available in Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel color options from retailers across the country from 7 December.
