Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is scheduled to launch its flagship devices, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro in India on May 14. Ahead of the launch, the a tipster has revealed the pricing of the OnePlus 7 Pro in the country.
As per tipster Ishan Agarwal, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be priced at ₹49,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage varaint. Apart from the base varaint, the company will introduce two other variants. The 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage varaint will be priced at ₹52,999 and the 12GB + 256GB internal storage varaint will be priced at ₹57,999.
While earlier leaks had hinted at gradient back designs, the tipster has revealed that the device will be available in three variants - Mirror Grey, Nebula Blue and Almond.
OnePlus had earlier revealed that the OnePlus 7 Pro has received A+ rating from DisplayMate and Safety for Eyes certification from VDE. Now, the company has revealed that the device is also HDR10+ certified and will provide users with a more dynamic, detailed and vivid viewing experience. The company has also partnered with content providers like Netflix and YouTube.
Commenting on this, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said, “HDR10+ is the future of not just television displays, but also smartphone displays as well. We hope that our newest device will set a new benchmark for the smartphone industry and open up a new world of visual fluidity for users. We’re glad we are leading the ranks in sharing quality technology with the world.”
Pete Lau has also revealed that its flagship device will also be equipped with the latest UFS 3.0 storage, which will likely make it the first smartphone to feature this technology.
OnePlus has started accepting pre-orders for the OnePlus 7 Pro in India via Amazon India. Users who pre-book the device will be eligible to get a one-time screen replacement worth ₹15,000 for free.
