Xiaomi today announced a permanent price cut of ₹2,000 on the Poco F1. As a result, the Poco F1 is now available at a price of ₹20,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. To recall, the Poco F1 was originally launched at ₹20,999 for the 6GB + 64GB variant.
Making the announcement on Twitter, Xiaomi sub-brand Poco revealed that the 6GB + 128GB variant is now available at ₹20,999 on Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores across the country. This variant was originally launched at ₹23,999 and there was a subsequent price cut of ₹1,000. Effectively, this variant’s price has seen a total reduction of ₹3,000 since launch.
The 6GB + 64GB variant is still available at ₹19,999 while the 8GB + 256GB variant is available at ₹27,999.
To recall, the Poco F1 sports a 6.18-inch Full HD+ resolution display with a traditional notch. It now runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.
The Poco F1 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, paired with up to either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and with 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage. There is support for microSD cards up to 256GB, but this would use up the second SIM card slot.
In terms of imaging, the Poco F1 has a 12MP primary camera on the back with a Sony IMX363 sensor and a secondary 5MP camera. On the front, it has a 20MP camera for selfies and video calling.
Other features of the Poco F1 include a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type C port. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
