PUBG Mobile 0.12.5 update introduces Royale Pass Season 7, BP Purchase and more

Rounak Jain

Tencent Games has started rolling out the PUBG Mobile 0.12.5 update that brings a brand new Royale Pass season, a new weapon and a new EX Mission License. The new update is relatively small compared to previous updates, with the main highlight being Royale Pass Season 7.

The new PUBG Mobile update adds a new weapon called Skorpion, which is a pistol with a capacity of 20 rounds. Skorpion uses 9mm rounds and will be available in all the maps post the 0.12.5 update.

Tencent has also made some minor aesthetic improvements with updates to character beards and parachute/flight trails.

The new PUBG Mobile 0.12.5 update weighs in at 210MB in size and is being rolled out in phases. All users should receive the update before 7:30 AM tomorrow, which is when the tier is reset and the new Royale Pass season goes live.

Apart from feature additions and minor improvements, Tencent has also announced that it has added dedicated servers for players in the Middle East. This should help in resolving high ping issues that Middle East players have been complaining for a while now.
