In an event that took place today, Samsung unveiled three new smartphones as part of regaining lost ground with the Indian market. The phones launched are the Samsung Galaxy A50, A30 and the A10. The phones will debut in the mid-tier smartphone segment and are geared towards the growing youth of India and their excessive on the move smartphone requirements.
The three phones in the A series come a notch above the recently launched Galaxy M series. The main draw of these phones is that all of them sport a Super AMOLED display allowing for crisp and immersive viewing experiences.
Samsung Galaxy A10 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A10 is the most budget friendly phone of the three and sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The phone sports the OnePlus 6T like waterdrop notch which goes by the name ‘Infinity-V’ display.
For enhanced processing capability, the phone comes with an Exynos 7884 octa-core chipset in a single 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage variant. The phone’s storage can also be expanded to up to 512GB using a microSD card.
The phone sports a single rear camera with a 13-megapixel sensor at an f/1.9 aperture. Up front, in the infinity-v notch, there is a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The company has added some enhanced AI features to the phone which make for faster and better image processing capabilities.
The phone will come equipped with a 3,400mAH battery to keep it juiced up for long periods of time. The phone will run on Samsung’s latest OneUI which is based on Android 9.0. The phone will be available starting 20th March on offline and online portals for a price of ₹8,490.

The screen has a rather noticeable chin at the bottom, but does not take away from the display.
To power the phone, there is an Exynos 7904, the same as the Galaxy M30. The A30 also comes in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage option.
