Samsung Galaxy A20e announced with Infinity-V display, dual rear cameras

After launching the Galaxy A80, Korean smartphone maker Samsung has announced a new device in the Galaxy A series, dubbed as the Galaxy A20e. The device is a an affordable variant of the Galaxy A20 that was launched earlier this year.

The device features a plastic back, a dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor at the back. It features a Infinity-V display at the front that houses the selfie camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A20e runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with the company's One UI skinned on top. It features a 5.8-inch HD+ (1560 × 720 pixels) Infinity-V TFT display with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7884 SoC. The company has launched only one varaint of the device, featuring 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy A20e features a dual camera setup at the back consisting a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an ultra-wide angle lens. On the front, the device sports an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy A20e is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with 15W fast charge support. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

Pricing and availability

The Samsung Galaxy A20e is priced at 179 Euros (₹13,920 approx.) and will be available in Black and White color options in Europe starting from the end of April. At the moment, there is no information about the device's launch in India.
