Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 launched in India starting at ₹7,990

Korean smartphone maker Samsung today announced the launch of two new budget devices in the new Galaxy M series, which the company claims has been designed for the youth. The Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 are the first devices in this new series from Samsung.

While the Samsung Galaxy M10 is the entry-level offering starting at ₹7,990, the Galaxy M20 has been priced starting at ₹10,990. The Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 feature a similar design and differ only in terms of specifications.

Samsung Galaxy M10 specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M10 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.5 on top. It features a 6.22-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) TFT display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

In terms of performance, the Samsung Galaxy M10 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 coupled with Mali-G71 GPU. In terms of memory, the device has been launched in two variants - 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy M10 features a dual camera setup at the back consisting a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and a 5MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the device sports a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy M10 is powered by a 3,430mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS and a USB port.

Samsung Galaxy M20 specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M20 also runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.5 on top. It features a slightly bigger 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) TFT display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

In terms of performance, the Samsung Galaxy M20 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 SoC coupled with Mali-G71 GPU. In terms of memory, the device has been launched in two variants - 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy M20 features a dual camera setup at the back consisting a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and a 5MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the device sports an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy M20 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with fast charge support. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS and a USB port.

Pricing and availability

The Samsung Galaxy M10 is priced at ₹7,990 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant and ₹8,990 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage varaint.

Coming to the Galaxy M20, it has been priced at ₹10,990 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage varaint and ₹12,990 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.

Both the devices will be available exclusively from Amazon India and Samsung Online store from 5 February.
