Samsung Galaxy M20 with waterdrop style Infinity U display leaked

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M series aimed at the entry level. The Galaxy M20 is all set to be the first device in this new series and will reportedly feature the new Infinity U display with a waterdrop style notch.

According to the first concept renders, the Galaxy M20 will feature very thin bezels and have dual cameras on the back. Given that it is aimed at the entry level, this might work well, but its success in the market will largely depend on how Samsung prices it.

Samsung Galaxy M20 specifications

In addition to the renders, most of the specs of the Galaxy M20 have also been revealed. It is said to feature a 6.0-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop style notch. This will be the second device from Samsung to feature a notch display, with the first one being the Galaxy A8s that was launched earlier this month.

Powering the Galaxy M20 will be the octa-core Exynos 7885 chipset with two big cores and six small cores, paired with Mali-G71 GPU. In terms of memory and storage, the Galaxy M20 is said to come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card.

In terms of imaging, the Galaxy M20 will have three cameras in total, with two on the back and one on the front. The rear cameras are said to come in a 13MP + 5MP combination, with the 5MP camera aimed at capturing depth information for portrait shots. On the front, an 8MP camera will be housed in the waterdrop notch.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor on the back, dual 4G VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone will be powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery, the highest capacity on a Samsung phone till date.

Samsung Galaxy M20 price and availability

The price of the Galaxy M20 is not known yet. However, it has been revealed that the Galaxy M20 will initially launch in the UK, France, Poland, Germany and Scandinavian countries. Wider launch details are not known yet.

Samsung is also said to be working on Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M30, and details about these two phones should be revealed in the coming weeks.
