As per the listing on Amazon India, the Samsung Galaxy M40 will feature an Infinity-O display with minimal bezels, a Snapdragon 6-series SoC, a triple camera setup at the back and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.

Samsung currently has three devices in the Galaxy M series – the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and the Galaxy M30. The Galaxy M40 will be placed above the devices and is expected to offer some upgrades over the earlier devices.

Samsung has also listed the device on its website and is allowing users to show their interest in the device by registering for a notification ahead of the launch. The registration page shows off the upcoming Galaxy M40’s complete design.

An earlier Geekbench listing had revealed that the Samsung Galaxy M40 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is expected to be powered by a huge 5,000mAh battery. The listing had also revealed that the Galaxy M40 will run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. We should know more about the upcoming device in the coming days.
