Back when Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released, it broke all grounds as to what an open world game could (and should) be. The game brought about a new freedom in the open world genre and even today, it stands as a testament to what an open world game should be. At Nintendo’s E3 conference yesterday, the gaming giant announced that a sequel of the game is in the making and it has fans ecstatic.
As of now, we really have no idea exactly what the game will be called. What we do know about the game is that it is in development. In the teaser, we can see Zelda- finally free of Ganondorf’s clutches with Link, riding a horse, exploring Hyrule in a new light. Have a look at the teaser below.
Soon afterwards, things take a turn for the worse when the duo come across Calamity Ganon’s corpse which seems to have gone rogue. Following that, Hyrule castle seems to be lifted off the ground. Exactly where it's headed, we have no idea and the teaser doesn’t give any answers.
After the presentation, in a press conference, Nintendo didn’t delve into any details bu just stated that progress for the sequel is on in full swing and, like the original game, this one will be a Nintendo Switch exclusive game.
As for Breath of the Wild itself, it has been a few years since the game came out and it has won many awards. The game featured new mechanics that made discovering and exploring Hyrule an experience in itself. The teaser for the game already has us pumped up about the game.
