A new smartphone from Vivo dubbed as the Z3 will be officially unveiled on October 17. Vivo’s Z-series lineup was announced back in May this year and was met with a good response.
The Vivo Z3 features a waterdrop notch design on the front and a gradient color back panel like we have seen on Huawei’s recent offerings.
Coming to the specifications of the phone, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset which also packs in an artificial intelligence engine. The Snapdragon 710 SoC is fabricated using the 10 nm process and has two Kryo 360 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and the other six cores clocked at 1.7GHz. This chipset packs in serious performance and has made it to phones like the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE and the Nokia 7.1 Plus.
In addition to this, the Snapdragon 710 chipset provides twice as many improvements for AI applications on the phone like the camera.
The design will be a highlight of the Vivo Z3 as the company has of late started paying attention to the external look and feel of their smartphones. We’ve had phones like the Vivo Nex which features an elevating camera.
There’s no word on India availability yet but we will keep you updated when that happens.
