What we relished?

Mixed Berries Smoothie - 9/10

Mexican Chicken Wrap - 8/10

Grilled Chicken Lemon Herb Salad - 9/10

Mexican Couscous Meal - 7.5/10

Portions: We were given a salad, a wrap, a meal and a smoothie. It was the complete package. All in all, the three dishes and the smoothie are more than enough in quantity to fill two people.

Service: The attendants and the servers were well-versed with the menu. The Salad Story promises of being a healthy substitute to tasty meals and the servers were aware of this fact and knew their share of information about nutrients and nutritional value of the food. The manager on duty was polite and made us feel welcome.

USP of the Restaurant: The restaurant pushes to achieve healthy, tasty meals which have the complete balance of both. Keto and diet meals are their speciality. They look forward to meeting the needs of their diet conscious consumer spectrum.

Our take on this healthy hub-

The ambience at The Salad Story in Khan Market is roomy, airy and fresh! It has a good classy vibe and does both takeouts and dine-ins.

The food is prepared keeping in mind the nutritional value and the caloric constraints that their consumers look forward to. The mixed berry smoothie was a perfect beverage to arouse our palate. At the very first sip, we were sure that it had no artificial flavouring to it which made it refreshing and healthy. The berries tasted right out of a garden and the smoothie had a perfectly silky consistency!

The Mexican chicken wrap had authentic Mexican flavours to it. The chicken was well cooked and the mouth-watering gooey dip that came along with it was an apt add-on. However, it seemed a tad bit too spicy so if you’re sensitive to spice, go easy on this one.

The grilled chicken lemon herb salad gave us more reasons to look forward to healthy and clean eating! The chicken was soft and the crispy lettuce lapped with a lemony flavour was a breath of fresh air during this summery season. The salad was the highlight of our meal and frankly, The Salad Story does make salads fun!

Lastly, the Mexican couscous meal was okayish. It was quite a lot in quantity but the couscous lacked flavours. We felt that the meal was bland but was well presented so it was a treat for our cameras only!

The Salad Story is the perfect place if you want to catch a break from a load of heavy eating or if you are looking forward to fun food substitutes to accomplish your fitness goals.

Maharashtra Unlock: BMC issues new relaxations for Mumbai amid lockdown

Mumbai suburban 'local' trains will not resume operations for the general public.

The Maharashtra government on Monday decided to continue with Level-3 COVID curbs in 14 out of the 36 districts here, including state capital Mumbai. While partial relaxations are awarded to the other 22 cities, the high caseload and emergence of fresh infections in the listed regions have discouraged the administration from withdrawing the restrictions in these regions.

Parallelly, the state has authorised the local civic body to decide the level of curbs in 3 of these 14 districts, namely Mumbai, Mumbai suburban and Thane. As such, the BMC has permitted all shops (except malls) to open here till 10 PM. The local trains will, however, remain shut for all passengers.
