Hidden away in Delhi’s GTB Nagar, Eat Shake Up is a cafe that is a favourite of a lot of people in Delhi. The cafe is especially popular among students and young people for its quirky interiors and great food. It is one of our favourites when we want to hangout with the gang or eat up a storm. So when the munchies strike you and you don’t feel like spending your entire month’s allowance on food, head to Shake Eat Up in GTB Nagar, Delhi.

The restaurants serves some massive vegetarian and non-vegetarian platters and we are in love with them all.

The platters come with five to six dishes and each one of them will make your mouth water. The cafe serves Chinese veg-non-veg, Floral/Faunal, Barrrrraaahhh veg and non-veg platters.

The Chinese platters come with pop tarts, fried rice, momos, chili potato and manchurian and/or chili chicken, while the floral platter is loaded with pop tarts, pasta, burger, chilly paneer, chili potato and momos. The faunal platter which is non vegetarian comes with tandoori chicken pasta, chicken momos, chicken wings, french fries, chilly chicken and chicken lollypop.

And the Barrrrraaahhh platter comes with a giant slice of pizza, garlic noodles, manchurian, nachos and momos, in each vegetarian and non-vegetarian option. All of these platters come loaded with huge options and we want them all!

Other than the massive platter you can also enjoy the chill ambiance and the quirky decor of the place. You can also nosh on other delicacies such as the cheesebomb burger, wafflebomb and the crazy delicious- the megadlon burger.

The state of Uttar Pradesh has raised a COVID alert amid the rising concerns of a newly identified Botswana variant. As of now, no cases of this strain have been reported in the state in specific or the nation at large. However, this has moved the health authorities to amplify screening at all international bases, to prevent the infection invasion scenario.

In this direction, the UP Health Department has also increased testing of international travellers, especially for those coming from the affected regions of Botswana, South Africa and Hong Kong.

India updates the list of 'at risk' countries as new COVID strain Omicron raises pandemic concerns

''Omicron', a new COVID strain first traced in South Africa last week, is now becoming a cause of concern for the whole world. WHO on Friday alarmed the siren among countries after the classification of a new strain of COVID-19 in South Africa. The Swiss Federal Office of Public Health released a statement informing the same.

The recently designated variant of coronavirus B.1.1.529 is of concern and has more mutations than science knows about other alarming variants, read the statement. As per WHO, existing coronavirus vaccines may be less effective against the new COVID-19 variant. The FOPH also informed that this new strain is more transmissible than the previous globally dominant 'delta' variant. Spreading fast, the strain has plagued almost all provinces of South Africa and has also been traced in Botswana, Belgium, Hong Kong and Israel.

BMC seals 16 buildings in Mumbai due to cluster COVID spread
