Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

Do you consider yourself a gadget nerd or just a curious person who has an affliction to technology? If you are into techy-stuff or simply an epicure who likes discovering new places in town, head to CAD Tech Bar, the futuresque restro-bar located in Gurugram’s Sector 15.

Their USP

The best bit that differentiates this restro-bar from every other uber-cool place in town is its amazing use of technology in everything. First off, every table at CAD Tech Bar is equipped with its very own touch screen, through which you can place your order, browse through the ingredients of your food, look at the calorie count of each dish and then place your order too!

The touch screens also have a number of games that you can pick from, while you wait for your order to arrive. You can play a small game to kill time or have a competition with friends over a few drinks. Isn’t that the coolest thing ever? The touchscreens also allow you to pay your bill through credit/debit cards.

The Vibe

The restaurant has a super modern interior design. The beautiful and numerous ceiling lights, coupled with the geometric wooden paneling on the walls and the ceiling make for an edgy, lush yet very comfortable space. And if you’re not into the whole pub scene, you can sit by the big windows, savouring your drink and look out to life passing by. The ‘ctrl+alt+del’ sign and the representational circuit design on the dark walls are also quite cool and in-line of the entire theme.

Another cool thing about the restro-bar is the cleverly named dishes and food sections. For example, a whole section of entrees is named ‘BYTES’ and the dishes under this section also carry quirky names like the masala khakhra is called Painter’s Icon, the thread chicken puff is called Bookmark, while the chili paneer uttapam is called, you guessed it right, the CPU. Not just this, they’ve named their starters- Software, The main course- Hardware, pizza section- Stomach Programmer, the side dishes- Attributes and the desserts section is called Floppy Disk.

So, don’t wait for your stomach to crash! Head to CAD Tech Bar and grab a masala khakhra or a chicken puff. We would definitely recommend CAD Tech Bar as one of the best places to grab a drink or two post a hectic day at work.
