The winters are almost here and what better way to greet them than with some heart and soul warming food? Nothing picks you up like a warm bowl of Thukpa during the cold season and that is exactly why we love it so much. In fact, during the winters, food becomes a sort of a companion and if you want to try the best of the cuisine that some Indian states have to offer, then this thirteen day food festival is for you.

Head on down to the Aajeevika India Food Court Festival and indulge in some colloquial dishes that encapsulate the spirit and the culture of these 19 Indian states.

What's buzzing?

Delhiites are known to love their food, especially North Indian food. Since Delhi is a hotpot where different cultures meet and blend together, it isn't too hard to find pretty much any cuisine you want. But here, at the Aajeevika India Food Court, you can find it all in one setting.

East or West, they're all the best!

Go ahead and try the Appam and Stew from Kerala, or the Bisibelebath that will make its way into your palette all the way from Mysore. Explore a bit more with your taste buds as the aromas of the dishes from Kolkata and the likes draw you to them. In fact, you can also come across cuisines from Assam, Mizoram and a few others. Their spicy, tangy flavours are perfect for welcoming the winters.

For those of you who are into more mainstream things, the mega food fest will also be home to dishes that are closer to home. You can have the melt in your mouth Galawati Kebabs from Lucknow, the flavour rich Dum Biryani from Hyderabad, Bhutte ki Kees from central India and then some Litti Chokha from Bihar.

A dream come true

We're glad that the food fest is going to be around for almost two weeks, because there is no way that you can try everything in just one visit. Trying out food from 19 Indian states is pretty much the dream come true for every foodie!

Knock Knock

If you're a foodie, or just someone who likes the occasional fancy meal, then this is one mega event that is just for you. So what are you waiting for? Head over here and try out food from a variety of Indian states!
