Released in 1977, Kinara showcases several scenes with various forts, tombs and palaces of Madhya Pradesh as the backdrop. Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya

Released in 1998, the movie Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya has two Indore connections. Apart from being shot in Indore, the film stars the Dabangg star Salman Khan, who is originally from Indore as well! The superstar turned into the nation's heartthrob overnight after the iconic 'O O Jane Jaana' song from this blockbuster movie. Interestingly, the college scenes of Salman and Kajol were shot at the Daly College in Indore.

Yamla Pagla Deewana 2

Sequal to the 2011 movie by the same name, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 was shot largely in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Although the movie was set in Varanasi, the scenes of the city were actually shot near Indore owing to its cleaner locale. Amid the jokes and laughter fueled by this movie, you must not miss out on finding a known place in the background!

Singh Saab The Great

A multi-starrer directed by an award-winning director, 'Singh Saab The Great' was shot at multiple locations in Indore.
