Alt Title 2: Foundation stone laid for another oxygen park in Ahmedabad’s Tragad; To spread across 24,270 square meters
Furthering attempts to expand the green cover in the city, foundation stone was laid for another oxygen park in Ahmedabad on Monday, June 5. Spreading across 24,270 square meters, the new oxygen park will come up in Tragad, and will be the second such park in the city after Thaltej, which was inaugurated in 2022.
The park will also feature a slew of attractions for visitors
The new park will feature 75,000 trees which will be planted using the Japanese ‘Miyawaki’ method. This unique method is akin to the natural phenomenon by which a forest recolonizes itself if it is abandoned by humans.
Apart from the trees, the oxygen park will also feature a slew of attractions including specific yoga spots, lawn area, gazebos, green walking trails and more. Furthermore, the park will also have a public gym to attract fitness enthusiasts in the city.
