During his visit to Gujarat, starting on the 15th of September, the PM is likely to officially launch the 20 km metro route connecting Motera in Ahmedabad to Sector 1 in Gandhinagar.
Ahmedabad-Udaipur Express train to be upgraded to superfast status
The Udaipur City-Asarva Express (Train No. 19703/04), which connects Ahmedabad and Udaipur, will be upgraded to a Superfast Express status from January 1, 2025. The train will then operate under new numbers, 20987/88, and will reduce the travel time by 20 minutes, shortening the journey to 5 hours and 30 minutes.
