The Glow Garden at the Flower Park on the Sabarmati Riverfront will open to the public on the 3rd of January. Developed by the AMC at a cost of ₹3 crore, the 4,500-square-metre Riverfront Night Flower Park features over 50 illuminated sculptures, glowing swings, and selfie-friendly pathways.
Visitors can also enjoy glowing seats and floors, adding to the park's unique charm. The garden, set to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, is included in the ticket price for the annual Flower Show.
The much-anticipated Ahmedabad Flower Show 2025 will now be held from the 3rd to 10th of January, following its postponement due to national mourning for former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Organised at the Sabarmati Riverfront, the ₹15 crore event features dazzling floral arrangements and innovative installations. Gujarat Government has approved the creation of a new district, Vav-Tharad, formed by bifurcating Banaskantha, located some 163 km from Ahmedabad.
